July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Chevrolet Malibu. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Install the adjustable accelerator bracket to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the 3 adjustable accelerator bracket nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

    IMPORTANT: Ensure that the adjustable accelerator pedal and adjustable brake pedal are synchronized in the full rearward position.
  3. Install the NEW cable. Refer to Brake Pedal Adjuster Actuator Cable Replacement .
  4. Install the accelerator pedal to the vehicle. Refer to Accelerator Pedal Assembly Replacement .
  5. Calibrate the brake pedal position sensor. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration .
