July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure in Engine Electrical in the G/H Van Service Manual.
  2. Fig 1: FICM Components

  3. Remove the fender brace mounting bolts (3).
  4. Remove the fender brace.
  5. Remove the FICM hold-down screws (7) from the mounting bracket.
  6. Remove the connector position assurance lock and disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the FICM.
  7. Remove the FICM.

    If the FICM mounting bracket does not have to be removed proceed to Step 3 of the Installation Procedure.

  8. Remove the FICM mounting bracket bolts (1).
  9. Remove the FICM mounting bracket nut (4) from the horn mounting stud.
  10. Remove the FICM mounting bracket from the vehicle.
