Sunroof Module Assembly Replacement

SUNROOF MODULE ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Close the sunroof.
2. Remove the headliner panel.
3. Disconnect the drain hose connections from the sunroof housing.




4. With an assistant, remove the sunroof module bolts (2).
5. With an assistant, remove the sunroof module assembly (1), by pulling the module downward at the rear mounting points to disengage the white locating pins.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. With an assistant, align the sunroof module assembly with the white plastic locating pins.
2. With an assistant, push the module assembly with an upward motion to engage the white locating pins.
3. With an assistant, install the sunroof module assembly bolts (2).

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

Tighten
Tighten the sunroof module bolts to 11 N.m (97 lb in).

4. Connect the drain hose connections to the sunroof housing.
5. Install the headliner finish panel.
