Disconnect Procedure
- Record all preset and theft codes from the radio.
- Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
- Verify that all the electrical components are off such as interior lights, the underhood lamp, etc.
- Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
in General Information.

- Remove the rear battery cover bolts (1) and cover (2).
- Disconnect negative battery cable.
