Removal Procedure

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
Remove the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement (3.4L) or Generator Replacement (3.8L) .

Remove the generator bracket bolts.
Remove the generator bracket.
Remove the engine lift hook.
