Removal & Installation: Starter: Installation

  1. Install the starter motor and bolts. Tighten to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Install the torque converter cover. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the starter motor S terminal and BAT terminal electrical leads and nuts. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Install radiator air baffle assembly. Tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Lower the vehicle. Install the battery ground (negative) cable to the battery. Tighten to specification.
