Code Enable Criteria

DTC P1517 is not set.
Ignition switch is in CRANK or RUN position.
Ignition voltage is greater than 5.23 volts.

DTC will set when previous conditions are met and invalid or missing serial data messages are detected for a predetermined amount of time for less than one second.
