Calibration Procedure

  1. Turn ignition on. To set telescoping IN soft stop, press telescoping switch to IN direction at least eight times or until column moves, then release switch.
  2. Press telescoping switch to IN direction and hold switch until column travels all way up. Continue to hold switch about a second after motion stops at mechanical end of travel. Soft stop for column IN position is now set. SCM automatically goes back to normal mode of operation.
  3. Repeat steps  1 and  2 , using telescoping switch OUT direction, to set column OUT position soft stop.
