July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove air cleaner assembly (if necessary). Disconnect Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector and breather tube from air intake tube, and remove air intake tube from throttle body (if necessary).
  2. On 4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L, remove generator. On 7.4L, remove throttle body assembly. On all models, disconnect electrical connector from TP sensor. Remove TP sensor retaining screws. Remove TP sensor from throttle body.
  3. With throttle valve in closed position, install TP sensor on throttle body. Ensure TP sensor lever engages with drive lever on throttle shaft. Install retaining screws and electrical connector. TP sensor is self-zeroing and is not adjustable.
