Entering Diagnostic Modes: Notes

NOTE: After entering a diagnostic mode, diagnostic mode must be properly exited. See EXITING DIAGNOSTIC MODES . Follow all steps in appropriate mode tests.

The Rear Side Door Actuator Control Module (RSDACM) has diagnostic capability. There are 3 diagnostic modes available:

Mode 1

This mode sounds Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) through sliding door alarm.

Mode 2

This mode tests integrity of power sliding door on/off switch on overhead console, power sliding door open/close switch on overhead console, power sliding door open/close switch on "B" pillar, power sliding door latch detent switch, Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter, transaxle range switch and ignition switch position (regular wheel base only).

Mode 3

This mode tests sliding door latch release actuator and all associated wiring to Rear Side Door Actuator Control Module (RSDACM).
