PSD Does Not Open With Open/Close Switch But Power Opens When Unlatched Manually

The following conditions may prevent unlatch actuator from activating:

• Open in Black wire between PSD unlatch actuator and ground.
• Open in Black wire between PSD unlatch actuator and Rear Side Door Actuator Control Module (RSDACM).
• Unlatch actuator is defective.

Perform diagnostic mode 3 to diagnose and repair problem. See ENTERING DIAGNOSTIC MODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.

The following conditions may prevent unlatch actuator or rod from unlatching or opening door:

• Sliding door is locked.
• Front rod adjustment is too long.
• Unlatch actuator is defective.

Unlock door or adjust front rod. See LOCK ROD  under ADJUSTMENTS. To diagnose symptom, perform diagnostic mode 3. See ENTERING DIAGNOSTIC MODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Follow corrective action.
