July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Test C: Scan Tool Displays Undefined DTCS: Diagnosis

  1. Perform DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. Go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Install scan tool. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, record undefined DTCs. Turn ignition off. Disconnect scan tool. Drive vehicle at 15 MPH for 30 seconds. Perform and ABS stop. Reconnect scan tool. Record current DTCs. If the undefined DTC reset, go to next step. If undefined DTC did not reset, go to step  5 .
  3. Disconnect scan tool. Connect known-good scan tool. Record DTCs. If the undefined DTC reset again, go to next step. If undefined DTC did not reset, go to step  5 .
  4. Replace BPMV/EBCM assembly. Recheck system operation.
  5. Malfunction is not present at this time. Check scan tool to ensure it is working properly. Go to DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING.
