July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Power Seats System Check

NOTE: Step 1)  applies to 4 and 6-way seats. Steps 2)-4)  apply to 6-way seats only.
  1. If seat does not operate in any position, go to TEST A: POWER SEAT INOPERATIVE  under SYSTEM TESTS. If seat is inoperative in one position, go to next step.
  2. Move power seat switch to forward and rearward positions. Seat should move forward and rearward. If seat operates as specified, go to next step. If seat does not operate as specified, go to TEST B: POWER SEAT DOES NOT MOVE FORWARD/REARWARD  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  3. Move power seat switch to front up and front down positions. Front of seat should move up and down. If seat operates as specified, go to next step. If seat does not operate as specified, go to TEST C: POWER SEAT DOES NOT TILT FORWARD  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  4. Move power seat switch to rear up and rear down positions. Rear of seat should move up and down. If seat operates as specified, system is operating properly. If seat does not operate as specified, go to TEST D: POWER SEAT DOES NOT TILT REARWARD  under SYSTEM TESTS.
