Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the harness connector from the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor.




3. Remove the IAT sensor by grasping the sensor and twisting while pulling the sensor out from the air cleaner outlet duct.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the IAT sensor.




2. Connect the IAT sensor harness connector.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
