Air Temperature Sensor ( Ambient / Intake ): Service and Repair

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in Service Precautions.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the harness connector from the intake air temperature (IAT).




3. Remove the IAT sensor by grasping the sensor, and twisting and pulling the sensor from the air cleaner outlet duct.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Install the IAT sensor into the air cleaner outlet duct.




2. Connect the IAT harness connector.
