Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Sunfire and 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the digital receiver electrical connector (5), if equipped.
  2. Connect the electrical connections (4).
  3. Connect the antenna coaxial cable (1).
  4. Install the radio (3) to the I/P carrier (6).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the screws (2) to the radio (3).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2.3 N.m (20 lb.in).

  6. Install the I/P accessory trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (CHEVROLET) or TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) ACCESSORY (PONTIAC) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
