OnStar - VCU or VIU Reprogramming

Reprogram the OnStar system after you replace the VCU or the VIU.

Place the ignition in the accessory position. Press and hold the Call Answer/Call End button for approximately 10 seconds until the telltale lamp illuminates red. The telltale lamp will remain red during the programming process then change to green when programming is completed
