Power Seat System Check

  1. Move seat adjuster switch in any direction. Seat should move in direction selected. If seat does not move in any direction, see TEST A: POWER SEAT INOPERATIVE  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  2. Move seat adjuster switch to forward and rearward positions. Seat should move in direction selected. If seat does not move in these directions, go to TEST B: POWER SEAT DOES NOT MOVE FORWARD OR REARWARD  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  3. Move seat adjuster switch to move front of seat up and down. Seat should move in direction selected. If seat does not move in these directions, go to TEST C: POWER SEAT FRONT TILT MOTOR INOPERATIVE  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  4. Move seat adjuster switch to move rear of seat up and down. Seat should move in direction selected. If seat does not move in these directions, go to TEST D: POWER SEAT REAR TILT MOTOR INOPERATIVE  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  5. Move seat adjuster switch to move entire seat up and down. Seat should move in direction selected. If seat does not move in these directions, go to TEST B: POWER SEAT DOES NOT MOVE FORWARD OR REARWARD  , TEST C: POWER SEAT FRONT TILT MOTOR INOPERATIVE  and TEST D: POWER SEAT REAR TILT MOTOR INOPERATIVE  under SYSTEM TESTS.
