Cruise Control Cable Replacement (LN2)

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Remove the accelerator control cable splash shield. Pry out the retainers.
2. Remove the cruise control cable tab from the throttle body injection (TBI) cam. In order to release the tab, rotate the throttle body cam to 1/4 open throttle.
3. Push the locating fitting inward to release the cable. Pull the cable from the bracket.
4. Turn the cable assembly 1/4 turn counterclockwise in order to disconnect the cable assembly from the module.
5. Disconnect the cable (4) from the ribbon.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1. Connect the cable (4) to the ribbon.
2. Turn the cable assembly 1/4 turn clockwise in order to connect the cable assembly to the module.
3. Install the cruise control cable tab to the TBI cam.
4. Align the cruise control cable fitting to the TBI bracket. Snap the cable fitting into place.
5. Connect the accelerator control cable splash shield. Ensure that the retainers lock into place.
6. Adjust the cruise control cable. Refer to Cruise Control Cable Adjustment (LN2). Cruise Control Cable Adjustment (LN2)
