July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove door trim plate screws and trim plate. Remove window switch assembly. See WINDOW SWITCH  . Remove assist strap and armrest (if equipped). Remove door trim outer panel screws and door trim outer panel (if equipped) by pulling retainers away from door. Remove door trim inner panel screws and inner panel.
  2. Remove speaker from door. Disconnect electrical connector from door speaker. Remove protective watershield by pulling it back from door assembly. Disconnect electrical connector from window motor. Remove nuts securing window motor to door module, and remove window motor from module. To install, reverse removal procedure. Lubricate motor drive dear and regulator sector teeth. Tighten all nuts and bolts to 97 INCH lbs. (11 N.m).
