Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

MAP Sensor:






NOTE: Other than checking for loose hoses and electrical connections, the only service possible is unit replacement, if diagnosis shows sensor to be faulty.

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT
1. Negative battery cable.
2. Vacuum harness assembly.
3. Electrical connector releasing locking tab.
4. Bolts or release lock tabs and remove sensor.

INSTALL OR CONNECT
1. Bolts or snap sensor on bracket.
2. Electrical connector.
3. Vacuum harness.
4. Negative battery cable.
