Alternator: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect terminal plug and battery lead from rear of alternator.
3. Remove accessory drive belt.
4. Remove two alternator mounting bolts.
5. Separate alternator from mounting bracket.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
