Coolant Temperature Indicator Does Not

Illuminate When Engine Overheats

1) Disconnect coolant temperature switch. Using a jumper wire, jump Dark Green wire to ground. Turn ignition switch to RUN position and check coolant temperature indicator.

2) If coolant temperature indicator illuminates, replace coolant temperature switch. If indicator does not illuminate, check Dark Green wire for open circuit.
