Clutch Switch: Service and Repair


1. On models equipped with airbag, disarm airbag as outlined in /MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG DEACTIVATION. Failure to do so may result in accidental deployment of airbag, possibly causing personal injury.
2. Disconnect battery ground cable.
3. Disconnect wiring connector from switch located on clutch pedal support above clutch pedal.
4. Disconnect switch link from pedal, then remove switch retaining link and switch.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
6. Reactivate airbag as described under /MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES/AIRBAG ACTIVATION.
