Cruise Control: Description and Operation

The Custom Cruise III system, allows the operator to maintain a constant vehicle speed without continually applying foot pressure on the accelerator pedal. This system utilizes vacuum to control a servo unit which alters throttle position to maintain a selected speed. It also incorporates release valves and switches which allow the system to be easily disengaged, and a steering column mounted switch to control the system.
