Electronic Control Module (ECM) R & I: Removal

Turn ignition switch off. Disconnect negative battery cables. Locate ECM and remove mounting hardware. Remove electrical connector from ECM and remove ECM. Remove PROM from ECM.

Fig 1: ECM Location. ECM is under right side of dash on Pickup models and under driver's seat on Van models.
