General Motors has determined that some 1981-1982 Full Size Chevrolet, Camaro, Malibu, Monte Carlo, El Camino, and 1981 Corvette Models may develop restricted catalytic converters resulting in poor engine performance or a no start condition.
To prevent the possibility of this condition occurring it will be necessary to replace the catalytic converter on the involved vehicles.
