July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Circuit/System Verification

  1. Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
  2. Engage the child door locks by pressing the child lock switch on the S79D Front Side Door Window Control Switch-Driver

    Verify the correct operation:

    • Interior Door Handle @ Left Rear Door = Disabled
    • Interior Door Handle @ Right Rear Door = Disabled
    • If the component does not work as specified 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If the component works as specified 
  3. Disengage the child door locks by pressing the child lock switch on the S79D Front Side Door Window Control Switch-Driver

    Verify the correct operation:

    • Interior Door Handle @ Left Rear Door = Enabled
    • Interior Door Handle @ Right Rear Door = Enabled
    • If the component does not work as specified 

      Refer to: Circuit/System Testing

    • Go to next step: If the component works as specified 
  4. A fault that is not currently present may have been caused by a intermittent condition.
