Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition ON/Vehicle in Service Mode
- Engine running, accessories OFF
- Test for 12.6 - 15.0 V between the battery positive terminal and negative terminal.
- If not within 12.6 - 15.0 V
Refer to Charging System Test
- Go to next step: If within 12.6 - 15.0 V
- If not within 12.6 - 15.0 V
- Verify the scan tool Battery Voltage parameter of the affected control module is within 2 V of the battery terminal voltage.
- If not within 2 V
Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If within 2 V
- If not within 2 V
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
- Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets
Refer to Circuit/System Testing.
- Go to next step: If the DTC does not set
- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
