Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2019 Chevrolet Suburban 3500 HD. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION:

Always connect or disconnect the wiring harness connector from the EBCM/EBTCM with the ignition switch in the OFF position. Failure to observe this precaution could result in damage to the EBCM/EBTCM.

  1. Place the ignition switch in the OFF position.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Disconnect the electronic brake control module (EBCM) electrical connector.

    Do NOT pry the components apart.
