Installation Procedure

  1. GM2828490
    NOTE:

    Align the locating pin on the brake pedal position sensor to the hole on the brake pedal assembly bracket.

    Position the fork of the brake pedal position sensor (1) over the brake pedal pin and install the brake pedal position sensor.

  2. GM2828486
    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Install the brake pedal position sensor bolt (1).

  3. Connect the brake pedal position sensor electrical connector.
  4. Calibrate the brake pedal position sensor. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration .
  5. Install the left side instrument panel lower trim panel insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Trim Panel Insulator Replacement - Left Side .
