Installation Procedure
Position the front lower control rear link (1) on the vehicle.
- CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
Front Lower Control Rear Link Bolt (2) - Install NEW
- Front Lower Control Rear Link Nut (1) - Loosely install
- Front Lower Control Rear Link Bolt (2) - Tighten
- First Pass: 160 N.m (118 lb ft)
- Final Pass: (45 - 60 degrees)
Front Lower Control Arm Ball Stud Nut (1) - Install and tighten
- First Pass: 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
- Final Pass: (120 - 135 degrees)
Front Shock Absorber and Spring Assembly (1) @ Front Lower Control Rear Link - Install - Shock Absorber and Spring Removal and Installation (RWD Without F55) Shock Absorber and Spring Removal and Installation (RWD With F55)
- {If equipped} Electronic Suspension Front Position Sensor @ Front Lower Control Rear Link - Connect - Electronic Suspension Front Position Sensor Replacement
- Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
- Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Wheel Alignment Measurement
