Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

    Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Fastener (2) - Remove

  3. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Retainer (1) - Disengage [2x]
  4. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover (3) - Remove

    Battery Positive Post Cover (2) - Remove

  6. Battery Positive Post Clamp Nut (1) - Loosen
  7. Battery Positive Cable (3) - Reposition away

    Battery Hold Down Strap Fastener (1) - Remove

  9. Battery Hold Down Strap (2) - Reposition away

    Battery Vent Tube (1) - Disengage

  11. Battery Hold Down Bolt (2) - Remove
  12. Battery Hold Down Retainer (3) - Remove

    Battery Hold Down Bolt (1) - Remove

    Battery (1) - Remove
