Installation Procedure

Install the steering column seal (1) to the vehicle.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the 3 steering column seal nuts (2) and tighten to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
Connect the steering shaft coupling to the upper intermediate steering shaft. Refer to Steering Shaft Coupling Replacement .
