Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lower control arm.
  2. Install the lower control arm retaining bolts.
  3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    NOTE:

    Do not tighten the bolts unless the suspension is at the ride height.

  4. Install the lower control arm retaining nut and tighten:
    • First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft).
    • Final Pass: plus 55 degrees.
  5. Remove the rear axle support.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
