Preliminary Procedure: Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
1 Supplemental Inflatable Restraint Instrument Panel Module Disable Switch Assembly
Tip: 
  1. Remove connector position assurance (CPA) retainer.
  2. Disconnect electrical connector.
