Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Air Cleaner Outlet Duct

  1. Install air cleaner outlet duct to the vehicle and the MAF/IAT sensor.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the MAF/IAT sensor.

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  3. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the throttle body.
  4. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the throttle body.

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  5. Connect the PCV fresh air tube quick connect fitting to the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) .

  6. Connect the engine harness electrical connector to the MAF/IAT sensor.
