July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the inside handle bezel to the armrest.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the retaining screws to the inside handle bezel.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

  3. Install the applique to the armrest.
  4. Install the retaining screws which secure the applique to the armrest.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 1.9 N.m (17 lb in).

  5. Install the pull trim cover to the armrest. Push to engage the retainers.

  6. Connect the armrest electrical connectors.
  7. Install the armrest assembly to the door trim panel. Insert 4 retaining screws at the rear of the armrest and 1 screw at the forward end.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  8. Install the energy absorber to the inner door panel.
  9. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Door .
