Installation Procedure

  1. Install new side inflator module wiring harness (3) to seat (1).
  2. Install retaining clips that fasten the side impact inflator module wiring harness (3) to the seat (1).
  3. Install the inflatable restraint side impact inflator module (2) to seat (1). Refer to Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Module Replacement - Front .
  4. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7  or SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5 .
