July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel to gain access to the power mirror wire harness connector. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Standard)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (WC2, WC8) .
  2. Remove the garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Front Door Frame .
  3. Disconnect the power mirror wire harness electrical connector (5) from the door module.
  4. Disconnect the wire harness from the retainer clip (4).
  5. Remove the mirror fasteners (3).
  6. Remove the mirror (1) from the door.
  7. Unseat the grommet (2).
  8. Pull the wiring harness through the hole in the mirror patch.
