July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (Standard) or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door (WC2, WC8) in Doors.
  2. Using a flat bladed tool, release the tabs retaining the memory seat switch to the door panel.

  3. Carefully peel the sound deadener material (2) from the door panel, in order to access the memory seat switch electrical connector (3).
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector (3) for the memory seat switch (1).
  5. Remove the memory seat switch (1) from the door panel.
