Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 5.7L.
  2. Loosen the clamps (1,2) and remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the vehicle. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .

  3. Remove the screws (1) securing the air cleaner assembly to the vehicle and remove the assembly.
