Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Cadillac DeVille. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the console center trim plate. Refer to TRIM PLATE REPLACEMENT - FRONT FLOOR CONSOLE (DTS)
  2. Rotate the shift indicator lamp socket (1) counterclockwise in order to release the lamp and socket (1) from the shifter assembly.
  3. Remove the lamp and socket (1) from the shifter assembly.

  4. Remove then shift indicator lamp (1) from the lamp socket.
