Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Cadillac DeVille. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Connect the yaw rate sensor electrical connector (2).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the yaw rate sensor (3).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the 2 yaw rate sensor mounting nuts (1) to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  3. Reposition the left trim panel.
  4. Install the rear shelf trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR WINDOW SHELF (WITHOUT SUNSHADE) or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR WINDOW SHELF (WITH SUNSHADE) in Interior Trim.
  5. Install the rear compartment trim. Refer to COMPARTMENT FRONT TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR in Body Rear End.
  6. Perform the ABS Diagnostic System Check. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK - ABS  .
