July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Cadillac CTS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the front fender to the vehicle.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolts (1) in order to secure the upper portion of the front fender to the vehicle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the bolt (2) in order to secure the rear portion of the front fender to the vehicle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the bolts (1) in order to secure the lower rear portion of the front fender to the vehicle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the bolts (1) in order to secure the lower front portion of the front fender to the vehicle.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  6. Install the hood. Refer to Hood Replacement .
  7. Install the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Wheelhouse Liner Replacement - Front .
  8. Install the rocker panel molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rocker Panel (CTS) or Molding Replacement - Rocker Panel (CTS-V) in Exterior Trim.
  9. Install the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb and/or Cornering, Sidemarker, Park, Turn Signal Bulb Replacement in Exterior Lighting.
  10. Remove the tape from the corners of the panels and adjacent surfaces.
