Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Cadillac CTS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the intake plenum. Refer to Intake Plenum Replacement in Engine Mechanical-2.6L and 3.2L.

  2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake plenum switchover valve.
  3. Remove the intake plenum switchover valve bolts.
  4. Remove the intake plenum switchover valve and O-ring seal from the intake plenum.

    Discard the O-ring seal.
