Vehicle Speed Sensor: Installation

  1. If the O-ring has been removed. Install a NEW O-ring.
  2. Lubricate the O-ring with transmission fluid.
  3. Install the VSS to the transmission.
  4. Install the VSS retainer bolt. See Figure .
  5. Connect the VSS harness connector. See Figure or Figure .
  6. Lower the vehicle.
