July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the theft deterrent module (2) to the lock module (1).
  2. Route the electrical harness and connect the electrical connector.

  3. Install a new wire harness strap to the upper tilt head assembly (2).
  4. Install new wire harness straps to the wire harness assembly (3).
  5. Install the wire harness assembly into the wire harness strap (5).
  6. Connect the theft deterrent module electrical connector.
  7. Install the steering column trim covers. Refer to STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENT - ON VEHICLE (POWER TILT) or STEERING COLUMN TRIM COVERS REPLACEMENT - ON VEHICLE (MANUAL TILT) .
  8. Enable the SIR system. Refer to ACTIVATING SYSTEM .
  9. Program the theft deterrent module. Refer to Programming Theft Deterrent System Components .
