Rear Compartment Lid Release Inoperative Using RKE Transmitter
- If system operation check has been performed, go to next step. If system operated check has not been performed, see SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK under TROUBLE SHOOTING.
- Depress instrument panel mounted rear compartment lid release switch. If rear compartment lid release functions properly, go to next step. If rear compartment lid release functions do not function properly, see POWER TRUNK & FUEL DOOR RELEASE article.
- Check rear compartment release function with second or known good transmitter. If rear compartment lid release functions properly, go to next step. If rear compartment lid release functions do not function properly, go to step 5).
- Replace faulty keyless entry transmitter. Verify system operation.
- Replace RKE module. Verify system operation.
