July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Driver's Seat Functions Inoperative

  1. Disconnect 8-pin connector C315, located under driver's seat. Using DVOM, check voltage between harness connector C315 terminal No. 3 (Red wire) and ground. If battery voltage exists, go to step 3). If battery voltage does not exist, go to next step.
  2. Repair open or high resistance in Red wire between power seat switch and fuse block. Go to step 6).
  3. Check voltage between harness connector C315 terminal No. 4 (Black wire) and ground. If battery voltage exists, go to step 5). If battery voltage does not exist, go to next step.
  4. Repair open or high resistance in Black wire between power seat switch and ground. Go to step 6).
  5. Replace power seat switch. See POWER SWITCHES  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Go to next step.
  6. Reconnect all disconnected components and connectors. Recheck system operation.
